Gina Garlie

Gina Garlie is an impressionist painter inspired by nature and guided by her interest in mindfulness and the wonders of the present moment. Her work captures the experience of wandering with wonder, whether on a path in the forest, sitting at the edge of a meadow, or walking in the neighborhood. As you view and reflect on her paintings, you are asked to soften your breath, let time slow down, relax your body and mind, and return to a place of peace. Instead of rushing through the world, she hopes that each painting will awaken your sense of wonder. 

Garlie primarily works in oil. She often begins her paintings outdoors, immersing herself in the elements and observing the subtle shifts of light, color, and mood. Back in the studio, she draws from these experiences, creating landscapes that invite reflection, calm, and a renewed sense of wonder.
