Mary Knotts

 As a self-taught artist, Mary began drawing as a preschooler and enjoyed art classes throughout high school. It was not until retirement that she was given the time and opportunity to pursue her dream of being an artist. Her friend and mentor Tom Saubert has been a valued role model with encouragement and critiques. She continued her studies in oil painting with Susan Guthrie at Flathead Valley Community College a well as studies with contemporary landscape painter’s Mark Ogle, Rusty Warner, Richie Carter and Kenneth Yarus and other numerous artists.
